The latest release of Unfinished Business, the mod which endeavours to restore that which Bioware left out, is now available! Version 8 is ready to download, and includes the following changes:
NEW ADDITIONS -Added Gebhard Blucher's "Gorf the Squisher" fix -Added an option to restore Yoshimo's original portrait -Added a complete Spanish translation (thanks to Clan DLAN) -Added a small fix to Squire Cathras' dialog so that he properly resonds after defeating Bodhi (thanks, Caedwyr) -Added "null files" so that other mods can detect if individual UB components are installed -Developed a (hopefully) Mac-compatible version of the mod (thanks, CamDawg) CHANGES -German translation is now complete -Polish translation is on hold until the new lines have been translated -Suna Seni's first encounter with Valygar has been moved from the Planar Sphere to the Docks -Suna Seni will now move toward Valygar before her speech in Spellhold -Upgraded installation program to WeiDU 155 BUGFIXES Added a command to append files in SoA to recognize ToB actions Fixed a bug that prevented a Kalah quest journal entry from being deleted Fixed a bug that caused the Websack wand to be resold by merchants with a single charge Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause Gorje Hilldark from spawning, as well as errors in his dialog file Download: http://www.pocketplane.net/ub Readme: http://ub.icelus.net/readme_ub.html Forum: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?board=19.0

Well, there've been no new error reports on it, and most of the problems in the last version or so were caused by leftover variables/files in the savegames and overrides of others.
So... knock on wood... it should now work properly.

I just installed UB8 and I'm trying it out.
The Kalah quest worked just fine, but the Kidnapping of Boo is not triggering. The WWMINSCINDOCKS variable is at 1 but Boo is still in his quickslot. Am I too impatient or do I need to debug?

leaving, reentering and leaving, resting, Ctrl+I,
tried everything which came to mind (saving and reloading of course) is there another variable that should be triggered? or are there special dont's for minsc to trigger the dialogue (e.g. no neutral persons visible, no indoor areas,...)?

You have to enter the docks and after two in-game days have passed, provided you are in the Docks or when you re-enter them, WWMINSCINDOCKS will be set to 2. Leave the docks again and Minsc will immediately discover that Boo is missing provided that
i) no enemies are about ii) the quest is triggered before Chapter 4. If enemies are about, he should discover Boo is missing after the enemies are slain. In the future, guys, try and post any problems in the support forum, http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?board=19.0 . Not all of the mod team is registered here, including the author of the Minsc/Boo quest. Thanks!
