Spoilers: Bugs with Anomen, Terl & the order

Technical specs: ToB, latest official patch+balderdash fix pack. Bonus merchants, Grand mastery mod. Running on Windows 98. ToB and patch was installed at the beginning of chapter 2.

Problem 1:

A little bugger by the name Terl (sp?) is following my party when i visit certain parts of town, namely the Slums and the Promenade. I cant talk to him. A search at this board only showed that others have had the same problem, but as far as I could find there was no applicable solution bar the console (which I dont know how to use), kicking out Anomen and taking him in again (doesnt work), and a reload (doesnt work in my case). The threads I found told me that Terl is supposed to approach the party with a message from Anomens father. I am currently in chapter 2, and have talked to Anomens dad once (choosing the lawful non-revenge option), as well as to the lady at the Council of six. Anomen has also started romancing my unknowing gf

Since the console seems to be my only option, how do I use it? Is there any other solutions?

Problem 2:
From the very same threads I understand that Anomen is supposed to be summoned for his trial when . This hasnt kicked in either (I see that it is supposed to happen when you are outside Athkatla, I've been travelling to Trademeet and Umar Hills recently, as well as to Nalias keep to collect taxes. I read that I could use the console to check certain global variables that are involved in making "the summoner" show up. How do I check these variables using the console?

Other questions:
Will the romance be messed up if I kick Anomen out?
What happens to all the side quests when I advance to chapter 3? I have a save in chapter 3 (spent about 1 hour in real time from the last chapter 2 save, only done ST linear quests in that time) and would appreciate not having to do some quests again. I havent been able to find Terl since moving to chapter 3 though...

I figured out how to use the console, and it turns out that a summomed Sir Ryan Trawl will trigger the promotion. Terl is however still a problem, as he seem to be a mute no matter what I do to him (Terl has nothing to say to you). Is he supposed to say anything at all after we chose to not go for Saerk?

I had the same problem with Terl. I just ignored him. He even proved usefull in the sewers. He helped me fighting Mencar Pebblecrusher and his team.

I don't know if this will work but you can try to kill him and then summon him by the console.....but save first because this is just an idea i just got

Thanks, but killing him and reviving him with the console doesnt help. "Terl has nothing to say".
