Custom portraits for NPC's!

As I'm sure many of you have felt, many of the portraits of NPC's in the game are rather ugly, strange, unfitting to the character, or just plain silly! Well, I have accidentally discovered a method for getting a custom portrait for those NPC's. Here's what you do:
1: Select a picture you find suitable to that character.
2: Re-size it the same way you would any other portrait.
3: Name the file the same name as the NPC you want it for (e.g. You want to change Ajantis's portrait. Name the file ajantisL.bmp for the large one and ajantisS.bmp for the small one).

I discovered this when downloading the portraits of various BG2 NPC's which I wanted to use for custom portraits for my main character. I named them all the same as the character in BG2. This includes the ones that are in BG1. Well, upon loading my game with Minsc and Edwin I saw that they had the portraits from BG2! Now, having started a new game it's worked on Imoen and Jaheira so I assume it'll work on anyone!

If this has been discovered already, ignore everything I just said
