When I try to enter the Planar sphere, BGII tells me I am missing an item, but does not tell me what I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

In order to enter the planar sphere you need to have a certain NPC in your group.

I will try opening with Val. Thanks everyone for the help. Of course, since my new baby daughter just arrived, It will probably be 6 months before I get to venture in the world of BGII again...
