When I try to enter the Planar sphere, BGII tells me I am missing an item, but does not tell me what I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

In order to enter the planar sphere you need to have a certain NPC in your group.

I do have Valygar?? Any other ideas as to what it might be? Highly frustrating.

You mean to capture/kil valygar, yes...

Yes.

Use Valgar to open the door. His hands alone can open it.
