does volo actually do anything i mean i found him and pickpocketed him and only got a jewel. but is he actually there for a reason??
i mena its good that other forgotten realms characters are in the game but they should have more impact ------------------ Nor shadow or myst the jester is a myth he is absolute beware the jester

Yeah, I had hoped for more from the Volo interaction too. He's often getting into trouble. It would have been nice to have had a little mini quest on the order of the Marl dialgogue that incorporated him in some way. Like maybe you rescue him from an angry wizard or something, etc.

I agree, they really should have had him be more of a character. My suggestion: You meet him again in Baldur's Gate, patronizing one of the nicer inns, and he gives you hints with the Helm of Balduran quest--but ONLY if you loaned him some ale money while in Nashkel.

It is annoying that you can't kill him, I kept on swiping at him and he just kept on drinking. Oh well, it's alright for some....
