Wow! So, if I don't provide this information within 48 hours, could they really suspend my account? I mean, if I had a BoA account.

They usually don't send a warning message email or otherwise. If somethings suspicious, your account is locked until you contact them.

Agreed (on both counts ). They'll either lock things down, or as my credit union did, call me about a check I deposited. It was fairly large, and they wanted to double-check the source before deciding if they needed to hold the funds until it cleared.

So... did you click on the link to get your account reactivated, Felix?

Well of course I did. Unfortunately for them, the page was no longer available. Therefore, I could not give them my fictional data.

Agreed, post it in tact on a web based forum and use the link from there, (for parody). Use your SPAM tool to eliminate the message. While it's still on your clipboard, send it to the real institution at their corporate web site.

Agreed, however, the real BoA has [/index.jsp] as the trailer of their .com. Which only leaves Internet users with their ability to comprehend the decimation of the english language to the point of which, this is a hoax, and should not be used. Sadly, we all know the results of that!
