Okay, you guys obviously had FAR superior equipment to me at this point in the game. Bloodlust is the most powerful sword I have (and still have now at lvl 20). I have found nothing better than that...

That was one annoying thing in 7 was rerolling characters over and over. There is no "reroll" button, so it takes a LONG time.
However, it is worth it to get the characters you want to start.
