I had no idea there was an option to run it in XP compatibility mode! I was able to do that, run as an admin, and then patch it with Trials of the Luremaster, and it looks like I'm in business.

Yes, I have. Got attacked, tracked down Marj, let her live, talked about spies in Orlais, got Leliana to promise to continue traveling with me after this is all over, etc. But no secksi-tiems yet.

No, I had the Orlais spy talk. The dialog touched on her past experience seducing men, which I spun a positive light on, figuring that would be most appropriate given her "reformed bad girl" status....

I managed to solo IWD2 a while back with something like rogue1/paladin2/ranger1/mageX drow, with ridiculously powergamed stats.
You could probably do it with a pure spellcaster, like you're doing...
