I didn't find it among the Faerie Tales, although they were interesting enough. And, Tall Tale, wasn't that a movie where Kurt Russel lassoed a Twister? I don't think I saw it there either, but I know I saw it some where... where was that?

Hey, I was going to say the same thing, or something similar. I thought it was Xerbus, also mentioned in the Monastery books in their history (and an earlier Wiz). A valiant priest. Not sure about the love triangle angle.

Just because of the sword and armor, I'm leaning toward some type of Lord-Paladin, due the the edged weapon thing. What's that entire temple dedicated to anyway... getting a few giant swords!?!?
