Trolls

Can anyone help me i just cant seem to kill the trolls in dragons eye they just get back up is the any way to kill them ?

When the Trolls fall down, use either Fire or Acid-based attacks to finish them off. IIRC, Poison-based attacks can finish them off as well. One other feature is that when Trolls are stunned/held, they can be immediately killed without the need for a finishing move.

Finishing off trolls is a good reason for buying those pots of flaming oil back in Khuldahar. In fact, if you have 2-3 trolls down, 1 of these flaming oil potions will nuke all of them.

Flaming swords, axes, etc. are also great. Flaming or acid arrows are also good. But the flaming swords, etc. are better since they are not expendable ammo.

And then there's fire or acid based magic.

Bleeding attacks can kill them as well, if there are any in IWD that is.

ALso there are oil potions available in one or two of the levels of dragon eye that should let you kill trolls easily enough. Small area effect, but try not to flame all your mages to death like I did.

There are weapons avaialble by now that do Fire damage, but only on 15% of hits or something so its not the most reliable way to off them. Trollslayer is what you want, but I doubt you can afford it.
