I do know it was sung by Nena in 1983 in German: 99 Luftballoons and was re-released by her as well in 1984 in English: 99 Red Balloons.

I see where Goldfinger got the german verse from...  ...I'm going to have to download this one now as I want to hear every version of the song that I can find... Does anyone know how many other people have also covered this song? |

Repeating my question from a previous topic...
Felix, out of curiosity... Why on Earth do you insist on using the rolling eyes emoticon with practically every single one of your posts, while the contents of your posts don't have that much to do with the underlying meaning which the rolleyes emoticon normally expresses? It's a bit confusing, and also a tad bit annoying at the same time, to be honest.
