I go with the rapid click method for the bats too. Or I get frustrated, back up, and massively overkill the little pests with a meteor spell. Totally uneccessary, but rather satisfying. You only have to target one once to get the whole flock. Or whatever the heck a group of bats is called. With skeletons, targeting the head is usually easiest. Never had a problem with any other enemies. It's picking up rings and ankhs from chests that drives me nuts. Not only can you not target them, half the time you can't see them to begin with. You can just see that the chest isn't empty yet.

Try using ranged spells on bats. Pain is a good one, but a zap is enough. I don´t know why, but it seems it is much easier to target those bats when they are flying towards you instead of hovering in front of you. [img]smile.gif[/img]
