I'd be talking with your brother some, LB. He's the only one going through the same thing you are -- neither of your parents is dealing with the same dynamic.
Ultimately, it's up to your parents to decide whether they're going to remain together. I don't know their situation, so I can't make a call on it. You can certainly talk with your mom about what she's doing and why she's doing it, but she will have to make up her own mind, and make her own decisions. She will probably do that with feedback from you, but she's got to decide to do it. And one of the hardest things about dealing with people you love is watching them do stupid things, or at least things you consider stupid. Sometimes, you have to let them do their own thing and get hurt from it. Then be there for picking up the pieces (if the pieces want to be picked up, that is). Basically, it sounds like your parents are faced with a decision of whether or not to save their marriage. It's something they will have to do, and something that only they can do -- although they would be well-served to go to a marriage counselor, I suspect. No matter what they do as a couple, you still have a mom and a dad... that won't change. Look out for you. Let them worry about themselves. *B* |

lol Sig
Bill-we never knew about those girlfriends he had before until my mom caught him with this one and he confessed. I know it's up to my parents but I know too how much my mom value's my opinion and especially my brother's. I normally would talk to my brother about he's just not that kind of person. Anyway, whatever he thinks about dad won't change how I feel about him, he's like my best friend

Very informative and responsive to the other posts, here, Xen. (applauds)
Now, my weekly chiding of Xen is done: LB, I'm confused. Is your dad like your best friend, or your brother? I'm guessing your bro, especially as you seem (rightfully) super-pissed at your dad. Well, I just took my chemistry test. the test I had completely forgot about. Along with not turning in the homework I completely forgot about for the same class. I'm kinda freaking, but I'm calming down now. (Thanks IW!) I have decided that I need to start spending some quality time with my planner, though. I dont think this will affect me too much, as hw isn't worth much in that class, and I don't think I bombed the test. We shall see. Well, now to that planner... |

I'm glad to hear that, Jen, about you and your brother being best friends. I know that thatwould have helped Melissa and me get through some of the things we've been through together...but alas, it wasn't the case. Attalus/Bill, and Sigmar...lol is all I can say.
