It's strange that you haven't found any magic weapons so far. You should most likely have two (if not three). The type might be random, but the effect is usually +1. Have you explored everywhere before going too far down?

id already bought 1 and had about 3 or 4 others and some discarded by the time i was on the last crypts in the vale of shadows
