Sometimes Ironworks is there (available) and sometimes not.. bit of a drag really, so I was wondering if it was my Internet, or that something evil is lurking in Ziroc's server... Choc perhaps? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

That happens every so often to me as well. It's not as bad as it used to be. It could however be due to increased internet traffic caused by a certain worm that is now circulating the net.

Yep, happens to me almost every day I check IW.
I mostly have a window with IW active at work and refresh it occasionally. Most days there will be a period of 30-60 minutes when I can't reach IW.

Maybe choc's playing with the internet cables?

It was just remarkable because it never occurred on this (my own) computer before. When I'm with my parents it happens once in a while though, but that computer is reaaaally old (5 years

)

It's been that way for me for some time too, but given that Ziroc appears to be in dire straits and still manages to keep this place up and running I don't really feel in a position to complain.

Still it could be interesting to find out what exactly is causing this. It might be something that can be fixed without outrageous spending.

Yep. It happens to me now and then. Don`t know why. I always get the "Page Cannot be found" message. Sometimes i wait 10 minutes it is OK again,but sometime 30-62 min. as said before.
I wonder what Z or [img]graemlins/choc.gif[/img] has to say about this.

I think the problem is on Z's end. It happens to me all the time too. And it happens whether I am on my crappy dial-up at home or on the T-1 at work. It always says that it can't find server. I pmed Z about it yesterday and he told me he would look into it.

It happend to me yesterday right as the NWN 1.31 patch released. I thought it might be increased traffic to the site but to check I used www.visualroute.com and hit it from VA which worked fine. But here in Atlanta I could not get to the board. This has to be some sort of Internet routing thing at his ISP level. My guess on that is because I could resolve his IP here but when running a traceroute to him it died at the hop before him.
