Fox News doesn't lean to the right very much, IMHO. It's the closest thing you'll find to the truth, because sensationalism is what sells. That's why there are so many liberal tv networks.

Yeah... Fox News doesn't lean to the right my ass. They practically perform verbal fellatio on the Bush Administration.

F--- Mike Moore. His lies are a cancer for those in society who don't know how to think for themselves.

If you replaced "Mike Moore" with "Bush," then you'd be right.

Dadams, get a grip with the whole "stupid americans" thing.

Okay, I have a grip... Most Americans are stupid.

Wrong, Klorox. Fox News is right-wing propaganda. Almost everything they report is from a conservative perspective. They never look at Bush in any critical way or reveal any corruption.

Michael Moore is needed in America where right wingers control most of the media.

John D Harris, you're saying most of the same things as you did a few months ago. There's (of course) no proof that Bush intenionally lied about WMD, but I can always suspect considering that he was warned by some intelligence agencies that Saddam probbaly didn't have WMD, but Bush just listened to the information that he liked. Despite recent reports stating that Iraq had no WMD or proven links between al-Qaeda and Saddam, Bush keeps living within his own fantasy world and keeps saying that Saddam threatened America. Threatened America with what? Spitballs (like your favourite senator, Zell Miller said.)?! When is this President ever going to start telling the truth that he was wrong about WMD and the chaos Iraq is in.

As for what John Kerry, what the hell?! Bush said many times that Ameriica faced an eminent threat fom Saddam. Kerry was fooled by Bush and the flawed intelligence. What you fail to understand is that a vote for the authority to go to war, does not mean a vote for war. Kerry has explained that Bush should've given the weapon inspectors more time to do the job and have the UN pass another resolution, not just start a preemptive strike on Iraq.
Oh please. CNN, MSNBC and most large newspapers (Minus the Standard) are left-wing, and ya know it. I personally watch ALL of them now, so I get both sides.
This is just my opinion, but I don't acually think that the news coporations you just mention are left-wing (with the exception of CNN, which sometimes slightly tilts to the left). I've watched CNN and MSNBC a few times and think that they're fairly balanced, considering the fact that they do a wide coverage of issues. They also have guest appearances and commentators that are both liberal and conservative.

I watch CNN regularly (only American channel we get here in the Netherlands, combined with Comedy Central in the late evening IIRC), but I really don't see how its reports are considered "left-wing" or partisan in any way. Or perhaps it only looks leftwing if you compare it to the precedent set by stations like Fox News, who knows.
Anyone got any specific examples of leftwing bias by CNN, by the way?

I've been waiting for specific, factual examples of "leftwing" bias by CNN and the other non-Fox media outlets for a while now. I doubt you will get a response because if one actually investigates the cliams of liberal media bias, one actually finds evidence to the contrary. I found more evidence of prominent conservatives admiting there is no liberal media bias than I did of liberal media bias.

The only statistical evidence I found that could be used to support the liberal media bias claim is a poll of media professionals which found that a majority would describe their personal political leanings as liberal. I have not found any evidence that connects this poll data to widespread, systematic, or even subtle professional bias by a majority of media professionals.

Nah, Chewie, there's some bias. I really like both the NYT and the WSJ, but NYT leans left, WSJ right. "Our top story today is..." See, there's always some bias in news, it's inevitable.

Ah yes the letters. The military is built from our society. So, if you think about 'how our youth is so,' "insert whatever", then re-read all of these moaning letters with a grain of reality, you can find the truth. The contractor does not fit, but the others do for the most part. TL, it's called "Fraud, Waste, and Abuse" let's go get them!

The guard, ah they have been getting paid for years to do their job, now they have to use their war fighting skills and are failing at it. Why? Because they are obtuse in their outlook on the pr-training. They don't need any extra training etc. They have the equipment, but it has to be maintained, at home they have pit crews that do this. In the real world, (Army) THE ASSIGNED CREW has to maintain their equipment. I have no mercy for the GUARD! They need a good swift kick in the shorts, and I did it to the last unit we just shipped, and the unit that is here now is getting it.[/rant]

MM is a whack job at best! Team him and rather for the 0200 (2:00 A.M.) news show, then post the ratings! It would not surprise me if they had a high count.

Gentlemen Place your bets

For nearly 2 years I've asked for anyone to come up with a quote from President Bush stating Iraq was an eminent threat. So far not one single quote has been given, NOT ONE SINGLE QUOTE, nowhere has anybody been able to come up and say President Bush said Iraq was and EMINENT THREAT. So now I ask you, Gab directly, produce a quote where President Bush said before the war thet Iraq was an Eminent threat?

Show me I have no fear of being wrong, if I am, I am I'll drop the defense of President Bush not saying there was an Eminent Threat from Iraq so fast the resulting vaccum from My movement will SUCK the Greymatter our of anybodies head standing nearby.
