best strategy for lower levels......

dont make a single class mage or thief, or even cleric. start them all as human fighters. then when they hit 3rd level, dual them to mage, thief and cleric. its really a lot of hack and slash in the early going, and you dont even need a mage. the cleric is the toughest one to deal without. you should be able to recover the fighter levels after (or during depending on class) by the time you finish the vale of shadows. I went thru the second time around this way and it was SO much easier.

Thanx all! and I know all the hexidecimals an all...but I lost my programming book. Sorry i havent been on 4 a couple of days so hers a big THANX! for all of your help!!! The pick-pockets works great!!! And Im sorry about the hard-to-read font colors. On the BGII board I was on b-4 it shut down had a light gray background, so Im used to dark colors...but now Im just experimenting. And yes I beat the original Baldurs Gate 4 times: twice just to play it, once w/ all cheats, and once solo. I know I shulda done that last suggestion w/the dual-classing the mages and cleric, but oops. Theres always next time! Well...imma bout to post yet another question so go on over and see if ya know the answer...and post sumthin on this 1 too. I like seein the lil burnin folder next to my posts. And 1 more thing...I was a BGII programmer w/the IEEP (Infinity Engine Editor Pro 6.0) and i was wondering if they had similar editors for IWD??? and what is the add-on to IWD??? HoW I know but is it IWD2 or an expansoin. Love Peace Chicken Grease... FREE THE HERB!

You can use IEEP for Icewind Dale as well. Its that same engine, so the same tools will still be in use. Just change the game from BG2 to IWD at the Loadup screen for the editor.

Dude...lemme elaborate. It CLEARLY states that it is not intended to incourage blood sacrifices and that it is simply to inform the Wiccan and Avatar kind out there like me about everything dealing w/the Occult Studies. If you read it, I CLEARLY stated that if anyone DOES perform a BR, that I hope the died a slow and painful death. You should read better.

Don't take offense. I didn't say that your site promoted blood sacrafice. I assure you that I have no problems whatsoever with my reading. It is the interest in blood sacrafice etc that is disturbing.
