I think Ironbar meant to post in the Paladin-related thread and correct someone on the gender of Garren's child. To clear up any confusion, Garren's child is always the PC's opposite sex. That's why, in the journal, there are never any names or pronouns. It's just "Garren's child".

When dropping items select some container (like a barrel or some shelf) and store all your extra items there. That way should you need any of it later they will always be there.

lol Sorry for any confusion!

On Topic- If you decide to store items wait until out of dungeon or items will be lost.

This is where strongholds come in handy. Save for the Druid stronghold, you are supplied with (a) container(s) and can put items there. Some of them... The fighter and mage strongholds come to mind... lend themselves to OCD-induced organization and hoarding of items.. while others, like the Lathander hold, make you save only what you really need.

the only thing to do in order to enjoy your gaming hours is just travel from place to place dont try to follow like a robot all the quests...relax and when you are full look your journal and start a quest..don try to finish it in one day

Oh, and find a party that amuses you. Personally, I make sure to always bring someone like Jan or Edwin along for laughs... and they're good characters, too. I also like Viconia, though she doesn't always 'fit' with my party... Some like Minsc, some even Korgan. But party members and their personalities enrich the game.

On the contrary... I've heard that items put in stores in stronghold might disappear (I've heard reports specificallyabout bard stronghold, also thief stronghold IIRC). Put items in any containerse but not in containers in stronghold

Ahhh yes... They might vanish if you put them in the hold *before* you acquire it, because the maps change after you acquire a few holds. The bard, thief, and fighter strongholds come to mind. I'm not sure about the mage stronghold, and I know the cleric and paladin strongholds don't change.
