Hey all,
First post here...want to start off by saying that you guys are the best bunch of game posters that I've encountered. Tons of useful information (from obviously bright people) given in a courteous manner. Kudos to everyone. Some background first: I started off my main character as a LG Dwarf Berzerker, and plan on dueling into a cleric once I reach 12th? level. My party is made up of: Myself, Minsc (ranger), Keledorn (the paladin), Jan (thief / mage multi), Aerie (cleric / mage multi) with last spot for Nalia or Imoan (both low thiefs dueled into mages). The questions: 1. What's the best level to duel into a cleric between 11th and say 14th from a skill progression standpoint as a berzerker? In other words what gains do I get at each level from a THAC0, proficiencies, etc from 11th to 14th? This question is for the rule-lawyers out there. 2. I've just accepted Nalia's keep...is it possible to get a keep as a cleric once I duel? No need to post anything about where the cleric keep is as I'd prefer to find it if possible by doing quests before I ask for help. So far I'm loving the party I've chosen...3 strong melees right now, a fantastic thief, 3! mages all backline...only thing I'm light on is healing until I duel and level up, but so far the ring of regeneration has helped quite a bit in that area...making it so that I only have to memorize a few of the higher level healing spells...that and the abundent potions / elizers of health seem to keep me in pretty good shape for the tough fights... Anyways thanks in advance for any responses, and for the road: Lil strategy spoiler here: * * * * * * * * * * * Can't wait to try out blade barrier coupled with the sanctuary spell with my main character at later levels...I bet it rocks! |

I can answer # 2. You only get one "keep" whether mage, ranger ect or even if dualed or multi classed. hope that helps a bit...

I disagree- I have a Kensai/Mage- I held off on Nalia's offer until completing the Mages quest. Once Valygar's buddy turned the keys over to me I went back to Nalia and got her keep as well.
I now get paid from her castle and have little magelings running errands for me in my mage's sanctum. [This message has been edited by oldbittercraig (edited 08-20-2001).] |

Anyone know if you can do the same thing with the cleric keep if you complete Nalia's quest first but don't accept the keep offer?
