After the "holy-crap-what-is-she-doing-to-her-eyes" factor finishes, the results are actually quite impressive.

hey, it's WAAAY better'n what the oriental and hapa-haole girls did when i was growing up.
they absolutely HATED having "single eyes" (standard oriental eyelids) and made "double eyes" (standard caucasian eyelid folds) by cutting scotch tape and taping them from their inner eye to beyond the outer edge, to create the illusion of having caucasian eyes. and they'd put eyeliner on it to make it look deeper. the wider the piece of tape, the better. BUT they'd haveta redo them several times a day, because the tape would get oily and start to slide off, especially if they put eyeliner on them. and there i was, wishing i had beautiful oriental eyes and there wasn't anything i could do about it. Plastic surgeons also now will cut the eyelid for a permanent crease for Asians that want to do that. Apparently more do it than one would think (saw a show about it).

And as Q'alooaith said, I've seen worse watching those plastic surgery shows like The Swan, etc. The thing that cracks me up the most are those people who want to get basically muscle implants, i.e., leg implants to make them appear buff, but it's all silicone (or whatever it is they use for that sort of thing LOL). I mean, if you want those muscles THAT bad to where you are willing to pay a lot of money and undergo frikken surgery, then why not just, you know, work out...

The cutter determins the overall outcome to a large degree, so everyone he/she operates on will look like their vision of perffection.
And it varys from place to place.
