Knowing how frustrated this makes so many of our posters, having bought a strategy guide that is basically not worth the paper it's printed on, I thought it would be interesting to say the least to come up with creative and fun projects that one could do to enhance the utility of the "Scroll of Misinformation." For example:

1) Place it on top of the toilet. Good for a laugh and you can actually get some use out of it afterward.
2) Use it to prop up your monitor while playing WW.
3) Put a secondary house key in it and place it outside your back door for safekeeping. Who'd pick up a 'Scroll of Misinformation', after all?
4) Make paper airplanes out of the pages while you're waiting for Sabastio to finish his speech.
5) Read it backward and look for demonic messages.
6) Play "dot-to-dot" with the "i's" on the pages and see if it draws anything recognizable.
7) Roll it up and smoke it. (Ooooh, the images...)
8) Use it for bird cage liner.
9) Ditto in the cat box.
10) Read it while holding it upside down. You'll get just as good information out of it and enjoy the strange stares people give you when they see what you're doing.

Okay, there's my ten. Any other takers?

I used mine to mop up spilled coffee on my computer table! (We not on purpose, actually. It kinda just got in the way!)

I don't actually have one but here's a few suggestions that you might try:

Stand on it to reach things in high up places
Roll it into a funnel so that you don't spill alcoholic beverages whilst pouring them
Use it to press flowers
To line the bird bath
As a paper weight
As a two handed weapon
As a doorstop
As a shoe horn
To line ragged garments with
To start a fire going in the hearth

I did not buy one either but from what I have heard about it I think its best use would be:

Nail it to a stump and use it for target practice!

Other suggestions include:

(Mark LOL) A coaster,
Use individual pages for cleaning windows,
Set toddlers on it so they can "be big" at the dinner table.

used to start the fire when stranded on the island

LOL

Use it to stop up the doggie door when you don't want the doggie to go out.
Use it to line the bottom of an old trash can with holes in it (its sturdy).
Give it to a smart alick "know it all" you don't like who just bought WW.

Bask in the knowledge that you could have written a better strategy guide with one arm tied behind your back.

Marvel at the fact that someone got paid to write it!

Start a new philosophy based upon the ironic inconsistancies between the guide and the game making special note that in the guide the maze lift map from the Serpent Temple is also used for the Skull Castle bridge lift puzzle.

Be grateful for Xignal's hard work on his walkthru!

Buy a thousand copies. Pile them on the unraised segements in the bridge puzzle in Skull Castle. Then you can cross to the four areas without bothering with all the levers and jumping.

Tear off pages and stuff them into Sebastio's mouth.

Use Sion Rodriguez Y Gibson for target practice.

Go to Amazon.com and register your negative comments so other adventurers won't get conned.

Throg <=== who luckily found the Forum before buying the Scroll of Misinformation.
