Happy birthday, Dron_cah! May the truth of the day be even better than the rumors...
And on a happy note, my Linux box, which has been down for a while because the power supply wasn't working, has responded quite nicely to a spring cleaning. Took it out, used compressed air to clean it thoroughly, and it has rebooted quite nicely. And quietly, too... much quieter than it used to be. Mmmm... and in another week or two (or three) I will have finished acquiring the parts to build up my new PC. It's not a screamer, but it's heads and shoulders above my current machine... Such joy... I think I'll have a beer...

AArrrggghhh!!! I figured out why my Linux box was running so much more quietly... the fan on the power supply wasn't running! The machine booted fine, but I don't think that's going to be the best thing for it long-term.
So it's back down, with another power supply from an old PC. But that one is smaller and just isn't working, so I'll be heading into a local PC store tomorrow to say "Give me another one of these", tossing the old power supply on the counter. Such fun... So Cloudy, make that a couple of beers, please... in cold frosty mugs, if possible. I've got some minor sorrows to drown.

Happy birthdau Dron_Cah! Have a nice day.
Firestormalpha: I was scared to death because doors were banging when they were shut (if that makes sence). I only found out yesterday I'm having teeth removed today! Nice of my kind, loving parents to tell me. And I have my Grading on sunday.
