To day I found one of those rare deals that you just cant let go, The Fallout games 1&2 for about the same price as a computer magasine... I never played them before and I just started #1, and I feel jus like when I played Baldur's Gate 1 for the first time... I'm in LOVE!!!

Well, I won't spend more valuable Playing time here, see you guys in couple of years (Just kidding, I'm not gone)

Yes, these are great games! Very, very special RPG based on GURPS rules.
Post-Apocalypsys world (rather gloomy), interesting quests and story-line. Each problem in the game has different solutions - f.e. fight, steal, persuade, etc.
Turn-based combat system, special encounters... I've enjoyed Fallout so much!
I wish you to have fun, Row Firecam!

You can't go wrong with Fallout and Fallout 2 if you like RPGs, and are not too particular about the setting of the game. I can only speak for Fallout 2, not having played the original, but it's a great (and lengthy) RPG, with many quests and sub-quests. Interesting storyline too. I like the ending cinematics where the game describes the consequences of the decisions the player makes for major plots within the game.
Many easter eggs too plus references to modern pop and cinematic culture (often less than flattering, heh ).
A word of advice for Fallout 2 - you'll need to install the patch is there are some potentially game-breaking bugs in the unpatched version.

Hey Fallout is WAY cool! Nuke cola for everyone! Hehehe!

If you haven´t tried them, do it! They are worth it! If you are out for best graphic in town, you probably be disapointed so I warn you now, after your first batles and discussions, you are usually hooked in anyway!
