...it was a snoozer!

Joining all guilds, training at every guild, every level, enchanting things all over the place, the final confrontation with Cet was close to useless.

With Magic, Ice, and Fire all protected up beyond 100%, Nightblades enchanted to plus 9 or better damage, and regeneration and armor on most other articles, my party stood under Cet's Firestorm without a point of damage. I had discovered earlier that Firestorm wouldn't hurt, thanks to an over-anxious trigger finger.

I enjoyed Cet's exit committee -- after the confrontation with Kerah, every time I approached the exit doors, I was rebuffed, and got a new encounter. XP, here I come!

And the board came in handy yet once again. Kept crashing during the Kerah-Cet confrontation, and followed the advice in the Best Tips thread (which I found through the handy-dandy index!). Great stuff, and thanks to all (especially Wyvern).

Final party:
Felpurr Zenmaster (level 15 or so)
Ghourk Valkyrie (level 13 or so)
Oomphaz Warlock (level 13)
Rattling Assassin (level 25 or so)
Elven Paladin (level 13 -- AC 32!)
Human Paladin (level 19)

I did have some monster gripes at the end. Why would a Pit Fiend cast burn on my party? I would think it should at least try incinerate, not some measly rinky-dink first-level spell. At least the Scarab Mummies would do some damage with Locust Swarm.

All in all, rather fun. I may try my Zenmaster solo for another game, or I may head back to some unfinished Might & Magic adventures. Still have a first level party stuck in the Tunnels to Eeofol...

Then again, getting to bed before 1 AM might also be a nice switch, too........
