Ugh I don't want to go back to school today. I don't want to go to math class! My teacher only takes grades on tests and quizzes, not normal class work. Yet, we still grade class work. I'd be making a better grade on that class if we did take grades on class work... meh I'll be quiet now.

It was a Piper Archer II, We thought about taking the normal Cessna 172 but we did not want to worry about the weight restrictions even though with the high wings it is best for scenic flight. We woke up this morning to full cloud cover but after the babysitter (friend) had took the young ones away we went to the airport anyway. The cloud lifted a hour later allowing us to fly at 1500ft ceiling. (Pablo is not currant with his IFR rating). We flew over the hawksbury river area then out to the coast, down the northern beaches to the centre of Sydney. We did a few circles of the city harbour over the bridge and opera house then back the same way. As usual Pablo did the landing and the talking to the ATC when in controlled airspace. Wife and mother in law thought it was all stunning,it was their first light plane flight. They weren’t too frightened when they saw me take control for the take off

LB is a flygirl, Wellard! I'm guessing she's not afraid of those itty bitty things, but me, I'm shaking in my shoes thinking of being that high up in that teensy a bit of metal! LOL

Still, I commend you for doing it! It's pretty cool!
