Just wondering, with all the information you can get on the net if people still buy computer magazines. I buy them occaasionanally if there is something interesting in it.
Also buy Computer Arts simply out of old habit... [img]smile.gif[/img] |

Never. Used to buy a few from time to time, but some of the reviews are somewhat biased. Ended up having a nice collection of mediocre games.
Nowadays, I can get honest and concise (IMO) reviews from Gamespot.

I've never bought one. I think the main reasons are that they're biased in reviewing stuff, or cause there's just only one interesting piece in it. Also I have had some serious trouble while using (a borrowed) CD from a magazine to try a demo.

Well Sometimes I will buy PC gamming just to see if there is any new cool games out there. I get to lazy to surf the net for all my Info needs.

I used to get pc gaming every month, but stopped now. Now I get custompc. Its great, its a hardware pc mag, and it has some really cool features, its fairly new (been out for 10months I think now) and I have every issue so far. I recommend you get the latest issue and check it out, or you can see the website here

I get a gaming and a hardware mag every month, in addotion I surf the web regularly scouring for that type of information.

I very rarely buy computer magazines now,
but a few years ago when my family got our first computer we bought all kind of computer magazines.

I buy NGC an independent Nintendo Magazine. I don't buy any PC magazine simply because my PC is too crap to run any current games
