I do. And the song that's stuck in my ears is "Colonel Bogey March" the whistling version from the great movie "Bridge Over the River Kwai". I whistle or hum this tune often, usually while working or walking. |

The theme from "The Great Escape". Especially when my youngest finds ever new ways to get into trouble (stacking his toys to climb up onto the window seat, etc). He always looks at me and smiles like the character Grimes 'the mole'....and I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying 'Cooler for You!'.

My earworm is usually some lyrics from the track I've been listening to, at the moment it's "Armed and dangerous, aint too many can bang with us, thug-ass niggaz that love to bust it's strange to us, y'all niggaz be scramblin, gamblin Up in restaurants with mandolins and violins. We just sittin here tryina win, tryin not to sin, high off weed and lots of gin, So much smoke, need oxygen, steadily countin them Benjamins Nigga, you should too, if you knew, what this game'll do to you, Been in this shit since '92, look at all the bullshit I've been through, So called beef with you-know-who..." etc. as you can see I get quite LONG earworms [ 10-29-2003, 05:51 PM: Message edited by: Vaskez ] |

Despite the fact that I'm more or less married to music, I don't really suffer all that much from this earworm-syndrome - in the "annoying" sense of the word, that is. I simply influence what's stuck in my head. Annoying billboard chart song in my head? I simply recall a song I actually *do* like from memory and force it in my head, and it'll be there until I've got enough of it. Very handy feature to avoid having *really* embarrassing songs among those earworms.
