The trio head toward the bridge to await their friends.
Upon arriving there, they wait patiently, hoping that Kaz ws alright and followed through on her mini-mission she was assigned.

Kaz followed Maverick, deep in her own thoughts. The stranger did not occupy them as much as the demon. Her hand curled into a fist at the thought. Why is he doing this to me? He has already ruined my life, why can he not let me alone? she thought, feeling hate course through her veins. Looking around, some places seemed familiar, some alien, all jumbled together. Kaz stepped lightly, almost remembering how she had once floated from corner to corner, unheard, unseen in the night - almost.

When the two of them got to the temple the guards outside stop them."State your buisness" a burly looking man asked."We're here to look for three of our friends." The other guard, who was a few feet shorter then his partner steped forward."And just who are your friends?" After they got done telling them both of them nodded."Aye we've seen them leave a day or so ago." Deiter thanked the guards and looked over at Chani"What now?"

The two of you are the only additions we are adding to Kaz's sub-plot.

~She bites her lower lip, deep in thought.~ "We go back to the bridge district..." ~She nods her head and looks up at him.~ "If they're anywhere in the city, and they go anywhere else, they'll have to pass through there, right?" ~She looks at the setting sun.~ "If anything else we'll cover half the city heading back there."

Maverick

~Walking through the slums they pass a well-muscled human man. He nods.~ "'Ow ye doin' Maverick?" ~He looks at Kaz and laughs, his deep voice hitting the air like ocean against jagged rocks.~ "She new to the coronet?" ~He continues to laugh.~ "Or is the 'ittle thing yer daughter!"

~Maverick pulls his ebony dagger from his cloak and puts it to the man's throat, his voice low and aggrivated.~ "No more jokes, friend." ~The man backs away and they continue down the road.~

Larry leaned over the bridge to watch the fish swimming under the current of the stream.

"So, Mistral, I have been wondering...what do you have see in your future, now? More death? Or has the tides changed for the better"?

"Sounds good." Walking out of the temple distric they headed for the bridge. Seeing Larry and Mistral he grinned"Well I'll be, looks like we found 'em."

She murmurs to herself ~ "Just as the paths of these fish are uncertain, so is my future... everyone's future, I suspect." ~ Twirling a curl of her hair, she continues ~ "Sometimes I wish I had remained dead. Death, at least, is for certain." ~

Abruptly, she turns to Larry ~ "I'm sorry... you asked a question. And my answer is no... my future is no brighter than what I had envisioned earlier..." ~

Suddenly, she sees Spree and Deiter approach and clams up immediately, her eyes narrowing.
