How do I quote? (kinda sad, really)

Well, when I want to quote something, it says "what do you want to quote, and it says type message here. So how do i get to say who it was orginally posted by n stuff, please help me.

Well..after you type it all in the UBB thing that you would normally type in yourself shows up on the screen obviously. So you just type in the 'Originally Posted By: MeMyselfandI' after . and besides...it doesn't even come up with a thing like that.

all you need to do to quote somebody is to click on this little button . its right above every post. good luck

click on instead. that will give you what you want.

If you *do* want to click "Post Reply", then you type the following, replacing squiggly things with square things.

{QUOTE}Quote Description
{QB} Quoted text. {/QB}{/QUOTE}

And that should look like:

Quote Description Quoted Text

To have multiple quotes in a post, you have two options-

1) To type it all out as described above.

2) To click quote, and cut/paste whats in the text box into Notepad, repeat for all the quotes you want to do, and type your text in the appropriate places. Then copy/paste it back into the text box.

This is a litle embarassing but if I want a partial quote how do I do it?
I am asking because with the reply with quote button you quote the whole message right?

I've noticed that as well, about the multiple quotes...annoying! I usually highlight and delete that which I don't want to keep.
