I read the book, it was a pretty good one, pretty wild too. Now I'm seeing ads on the TV for the movie LOL! I have to see that one, I can't imagine what it might look like, as it is an odd movie to correctly catch on film (only those who read the book will know what I mean). And some aspects of the story are kinda, err... really gross, and I wonder if the movie is going to actually show all that in graphic detail LOL. Woooaaahhh! Be interesting to see how they do it, and if it lives up to the book (well as much as any movie can live up to a book, as most never do, just come close) Except for some Stephen King movies (like The Shining), most of SK's movies are pretty decent, I like the way he doesn't have big top dog actors and actresses in them, he goes for true quality and character similation, and I really like that The movie Deloris Clayborn is one such example of excellent acting and the characters fit the book like a glove as well.
So if anyone has seen the movie Dreamcatcher yet, don't spoil me, but tell me if it was good or not! |

I just finished reading the book last night, and it was a good one. If you wanna see some behind the scenes footage of the making of Dreamcatcher go to the movies website:
http://dreamcatchermovie.warnerbros....p/main-fr.html it's got some making of, some journal entries, and the full trailors. check out the website, its really sweet! Ps: it seems like a really hard book to make into a movie, and i'm also looking forward to seeing it. it comes out March 16.

The book was ok. If they include all the gore and blood then I will not be going to see it. As you can guess SK is not my favorite author, but he does write some good books. "Bag of Bones", "It", "The Stand", "The Green Mile" and "Stand by Me". The movie adaptions are generally ok as well. "The Green Mile" and "Stand by Me" adaptions were very well done. I do have to admit that "Pet Semetary" scared the heck outta me.

Don't forget "The Shawshank Redemption" (based on a book of SK: "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption". That movie is one of the best I've ever seen.

Two books of his I read that I think would make good movies is Rose Madder and perhaps his newest short book, From A Buick8. Buick 8 would be very easy to make movie-wise, same for Rose Madder, with a touch of cool special effects. |

Yeah the book was quite good, maybe not as good as his older books but it was still entertaining...
I'm really looking forward to see this movie, hope it'll be good. =/ |

True enough LadyZekke. Unfortunately in the preview I saw at the theater it showed a bathroom shot over the shoulder of one of the characters...you know what I mean. So...I am somewhat worried about the gore factor. I know my wife will NOT go at all. She doesn't like anykind of scary movie. Gore or no.
Link...I did forget "The Shawshank Redemption". That was another good one. Though I have to admit I liked "The Green Mile" more. |

My Uncle came over and he said the Animatrix (3-D Matrix thing before Dream catcher) and Dreamcatcher were kind of dumb.
