Don't you realize how hard it is to ice skate down here? Even with freezers the largest piece of ice we can get is an ice cube. We're forced to just pour water on our hockey rinks and we just "skate" on the water. It's a good thing the puck floats. As a matter of fact; Texans are so impressed with ice that they went to see the movie "Titanic" even though they knew that Celine Dieon was singing on the soundtrack' just to see the iceberg. Most of us have small boats like that already but it was neat to see that iceberg. (best part of the movie even including Leonardo DiCaprio dying)

Eh?

Well I will admit I am not a Ice expert, but I think the ice was pretty good. Actually, at my skating lessons today it was exxelent. Although I will admit most of the time it is a bit slushy.

True_Moose, yes I did know that. I have done it before

Edit: "Impressed with ice"? It frezzes over alot here in Central Texas. Well it does alot in Febuary anyway.

Iron Ranger-
You're ruining our mystique as a cactus filled wasteland burning under a desert sky. People expect us to run around in boots and cowboy hats and say things like, Howdy pardner. Do you really want to disillusion all of our faraway friends?
P.S. Did you know that northern Minnesota is called the Iron Range and that they tell Ranger jokes which are identical to our Aggie jokes. Only the names are changed to insult the innocent.

I dont see why we cant run around in cowboy hats and say howdy and still like hockey? With todays technology its not that hard to get ice in a warm climate, hell Phoenix even has a hockey team .

And no I didnt now about the Iron Range. Uh..intresting
