To everyone interested in using Poser or Daz|Studio to make pictures for DC (or just for fun) here are some of the links that I have acquired. I hope you find them useful.

It's a shame that a lot of the 3D images out there aren't free. I was wondering about milkshake; I understand its a 30 day trial version; but is that the program you use for props (weapons, armor, ect)?

Yup. I use it for everything 3D related. I've done a couple of robots with it for use in poser/Daz. They look cool until I start posing them, then the shoulders don't bend properly. But, as a side-effect, I know how to make figures/smart props in poser that can be used in Daz as well. (I'm sure you've seen by now that many props only work well with a certain figure, Victoria 3 for example.)
I would try harder to make gmax work, but it doesn't export to .obj or .3ds, the two major formats handled by poser, and Daz can only use .obj.
