That's great Moni! I'm so glad Sugar has people to love her now, obviously those people who didn't want her aren't the right parents for such a sweet little baby . I read in another thread that your dogs were poisoned? I hope they're all all right .

Thanks Aelia Jusa
Thank you also for your concern.
Yeah, we don't know if it was a set of burglars that hit the Women's Club's house next door (that they use for donations left on the porch) or some drunkards that were renting the house behind ours since they moved at the same time the burglaries and poisonings took place (Hercules made sure he barked at the drunkards constantly when they would fight out in the street during the wee hours of the morning and anyone who approaced the Women's club as well).
Hercules was the worst off of the three and almost died. He had to have a blood transfusion in order to save him. Thank goodness for the good hearts of KHaN's parents because we just didn't have the financial means to have it done at that moment in time.

The other two were not as bad off but Zip was threatened with potential death if we did not get her an antidote to what appeared to be the injestion of rat poison.

Our vet turned us on to Vitamin K, a natural antidote to the rat poison and a preventative to death from any future poisonings so they get and extra snack every day....a bit of chicken hot dogs with a vitamin K capsule stuffed into it.

We also fenced in a section of the yard, not giving them the full run exposed to the house behind us, the street that runs alongside the yard, or the driveway area that is next to the yard of the Women's Club during the overnight hours and so far so good.
