Unfortunately I have a german version of BG2. If there is anyone here with an european version too, could you help me? Or does anyone know how to activate the gore animations? I thought, i can insert in baldur.ini gore=1, but this doesnt work, do you have some ideas? I knew it how, but i didnt played Bg for a longer time, and now i forgot it

Dont know about the German version mate but on my copy when you go in to the game settings bit you can turn the gore on and off as well as adjust the difficulty and stuff like that

I don't have the European version, but I would think that the way to change these settings would be the same as in the U.S. version???
In the U.S. version, you just go into the "Configuration" menu from the main start-up menu and look for the Gore/Animations option. I think that there are 3 settings to choose from. That should do it, I think... Hope that helps! ------------------ Now where did I leave that doughnut?! |

Thx, for the replies guys. I cant switch it from the options menu(i hate european versions , so far i think only manual by inserting something in the baldur.ini file, hmmm... Would someone of you send me an e-mail with a baldurs.ini attachment, where the gore animations are on? This would be very nice. My e-mail: sebastianc@chello.at. Thx!

hehe debiler, cooler nick. No help needed any more. I found the solution. For all others out there, who want the Gore animations in the German version too, insert Level Access=1 and Memory Access=100 in the game options.
