Hello all,
My problem is this, I have loaded both BG2 and TOB together before starting a new game, and I am running into a problem of " duplicate enemies ". By that I mean on occasions(to many for my liking) I will engage an enemy and if I leave the room from the initial encounter area and the computer has to relaod a new area here's what happens in general: the enemy usually follows me to the new area where I kill him/her and then I go back to initial area and there he/she is again? Anyone have this issue. Sidenote, unless I'm missing something, the computer keeps giving my character an additional 1 to hit modifier on my weapons skills. Character in point: multiclass fighter/thief elf. Elves do get a bonus for longswords but does that also include shortswords? Thanks for anyhelp you can give. There is a new patch out there for Throne of Bhaal (no longer beta, but a full patch) that corrects the duplicating enemy "problem" (never considered it much of a problem to get, say, two Celestial Furies, but the patch will correct that). ------------------ Death is only the beginning... |

Thanks for the info, Nerull, on the patch, I can see your point, but when I have to face mencer and the gang twice, it can be difficult to say the least.
As to the elves, yes I know they get a bonus for using a longsword, but does that also include the shortsword? I'm fighting dual shortswords and I keep getting an additional "to hit" modifier of 1. Best, Irish ------------------ " When I read about the evils of drinking, I quit reading " |
