Hi!

I'm new to this board, so please bear with my ignorance. I have windows XpRC2 (my husband installed it on my computer without my knowledge, as he does often), and now I find I cannot leave Ishad N'ha once I enter. I probably am missing out on some of the buildings, too. My husband, who should know all about these things, says the towns play fine in Windows Media player, and he doesn't know what to do.

If any of you have any suggestions, I'd be thrilled to hear them. You can tell, I'm sure, that I'm NOT a technical person, so I'm sorry again for my ignorance!

Thank you very much!!!

Welcome to the board, Toady Hambone!!!

Please check in Saz' techie help desk thread - there are a couple of posts in there that deal with the various problems caused by playing on a system running anything higher than Windows98.
Saz's thread should still be on the first page but if you have difficulty finding it, do let me know and I'll push it back up to the top for you.

Wyv's got it - I had the same problem with XP RC2. It's the TownMask AVI incompatibility covered in this thread.

And save often now - there are other Windows 2000/XP "getch ya's" out there.
