CEP Help

Hello,

I am trying to get up and runing on EfUon a new system and it seems even though I thought I downloaded, unpacked, and installed everything it still needs a few more things, namely:

ceptexture.hak
cepportiat.hak
cepplace.hak
cepcreature.hak
cepbaseitem.hak
cepanatomy.hak
cep2da.hak
cep1patch.hak

Where can I find these or could someone just send them to me in an attachment? I have spent several hours fighting this and am quite frustrated. And yes I downloaded the three massives and the cep2.0.

I did the same thing myself when I reloaded NWN/EFU for a new PC.

For whatever reason CEP 2.0 does not work with EFU.

What you need is the CEP version 1.51. All the files you are missing are in there. There is also a small CEP patch which updates to NWN patch 1.68. I download it but I don't know if it is really necessary.

CEP had two options on the release of CEP 2.0, maintain backwards compatibility, as they have throughout, or prepare it, hopefully, for the final NWN patch, ver 1.69. They chose the latter, since it meant a lot less work after that patch.

If you download and install all of the CEP versions/patches prior to ver 2.0, you will have no problems running EFU. All the versions you need can be found here.
