Well...every upcoming generation wants to make sure that they do not use the slang of the previous generation because it is every child's idea that they have to be unique as though they were not already.
Anyway, somebody must have older siblings teaching their younger brothers and sisters the slang of choice for today's kids. My kindergarden-age child has been caught saying, "That's sooo busted!" Naturally, I linked the word "busted" to the phrase, "You're busted!", and tried to conclude that I had derived the answer to this riddle that "the person was saying that "That is so sad, or wrong, or bad..."but she corrected me be saying that "busted" is like "cool". I have three things left to say... WWWTF??? (What, who, why) [ 11-17-2005, 10:57 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ]
