I heard that Liverpool overtook Arsenal (who were supposed to be playing perennial easybeats Everton) with their 1-zip win over fellow superstars Leeds.

Arsenal were meant to be playing afterwards, and defending a record of 39 consecutive games without defeat. Given that, I'm sure that the Reds will only be on top until Arsenal beat Everton - comfortably probably.

Speaking of which, anyone know the score between Arsenal and Everton? Did the Gunners sweep Everton aside like dirt on a smooth tile floor...?

Yay! Arsenal were beaten 2-1 by Everton.
And Liverpool won't be at the top for long. As soon as Roy Keane is back Manchester United is going straight to the top of the league.

Look out everybody - they're coming out of the woodwork in their droves now - look there's another. You don't see any of them for months and then they just get it into their heads to come out and give you the old 'fleabite'. never mind - they'll be quiet again soon.

Not talking to you today Memnoch - after yesterday's no show!!

Ahh, Memnoch, nice to hear you talking about the Premiership again, where have you been for the last 6-7 months then ?. Still its given you plenty of time to clean the mud from your shovel, you know the one you used to dig yourself a hole
all those months ago .And as for Liverpool being top of the league for a while, well this puts you on a par with Tottens**t and Bolton. Still I hear Liverpool are very exciting to watch...or so my mate Stevie Wonder says anyway. ..Whats that digging noise? Remember the bigger the hole, the bigger the cave in.

I fancy Arsenal to win the league again this year although I hope they don't because I support Man United. It was a suprise Arsenal lost to Everton who aren't very good at all but a welcome suprise! BTW I'm going to see Man United against Newcastle at Old Trafford in about a month's time I've been there before and am very much looking forward to it. Nice to see a football discusion on Escape Forums!
