My first christmas in the northern hemisphere, and it was white. Unbelievable. A group of my friends and I had a massive snowball fight. It was great until I got hit in the eye... an hour later it's still red, sore and blurred vision. Bugger. It was heaps of fun though. Amazing. Never done it before. Totally exhausted me. Even had a wrestle.

The snow makes New York so pretty. I couldn't believe it. Very happy am I.

(And very tired)
Bye.

In the cartoons snowball fights look very fun and painless. In real life it's very different. Around 7 years ago when I was in England I tried to make some snow into a ball and throw it! Bah my lump of snow wasn't even round! I got hit and the snow slid down my back **shudders** Icy snow...

You're lucky Yorick, snow is cool, and it never snows in Sydney

How much snow in your area, Yorick?

We got pounded pretty good, too. I went out twice wednesday, and had to sweep about a foot off the car both times.

The nephews had fun making snow angels and so on (only three of them, and one niece - but it seemed like eight! )

I heard the city got around 1.5 inches of snow. I live 45 minutes from the city and we got about 1.2 inches. But it was so much to shovel.
