Yeah, but if you ask me, I'd rather have the board spammed a bit by some of the older blue-boarders than have them leave.
So the drilling wasn't so killing, now you've turned and the drilling you've earned... long may you drill.

We love you guys!

Fine let them spam BUT IF they must spam, let them do so with some alteration! Make a bunnie thread, pure but enjoyable spam made by an old blue. Posting the same thing again and again is tedious, dull and imgiative, If i posted bluebird 5+ time on each thread I don't think it would be that funny.
Gabe, sorry but I can't let this pass. I thought the bunny threads were a complete steaming pile of ****ing bs drivel... and I didn't complain, because some people were obviously enjoyiing themselves. Just extend the same TOLERANCE to us as we extend to you - go whine elsewhere mate.

You are a smart guy, I personally don't see you having any problems on that end I guess I must have missed that serious post of yours under another name, but then ugain maybe I did see it but didn't know it was you? Well shoot, either way, glad you are still around Gabriel
Medical speaking I got mild spine indiffter(Not even attenting to spell it) But it just means my spines bent and will suffer back pain the rest of my life. As for being fired, I hated the job anyway it just that the lied and broke the law to do it but I wasn't there long enough to do anything about it.
The post was under the name of.... either Grundal, Tuxdo mask or Vox...I think...I know one was used here and rest were on other boards.
Thank for the complaint by the way

None of you can truly claim to be bipartisan when it comes to defining spam. Spam between people who know and like each other is not considered spam by them, I’m sure. Everyone talks junk to their friends – it’s how people bond together and develop friendships. But others who are outside that particular social/age group or don't find that particular brand of humor funny would probably find the spam either infantile, irritating, or childish. Exampes:

 • The Bunny thread – enjoyed by some as it has caused them to develop friendships and brought smiles to their faces, hated by others as being revolting, repulsive, nauseous, extremely irritating, etc. (which it was towards the end)
 • Phil McCavity – enjoyed by some as an in-joke between some of the most enduring people on the board as they finally got the chance to meet in person, hated by others as being repetitive (which it was, I have to admit)
Bottom line? The spam that you are not in on, is never good spam.
What this has come down to is a My spam is better than your spam debate. This is simple personality/preference conflicts that are common on a board of this size. You go to a party, you won't like everyone there (unless you're roaring drunk). It's been happening ever since human beings came out of the jungles and began to congregate in groups.

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to be subjective when it comes to defining what is *good* spam or what is *bad* spam. I think that we draw the line at repetitive, nonsense posts. With almost everything else we're quite lenient (whatever Tiamat might believe ).

I would just ask EVERYONE to moderate whatever spam they choose to do here. For those who have to read it - be patient when it's obviously friends talking. Use your back button if you find it tiresome. Read another thread. For those who are doing it - know when the joke has gone too far, and gracefully end it before it starts to head to places that none of us want it to. And don't pollute other threads with it, especially on-topic threads. This is always how jokes turn sour.

This makes it easier for everyone – including moderators and admins. I want to be able to enjoy myself when I come here too.

Finally, there's a difference between friendly spamming and provocative spamming, which is pretty close to trolling (provoking/goading reactions from people) in my book. Let’s make sure that we don’t degenerate into the latter, as flames are sure to follow. Respect for others – that’s our cornerstone here at Ironworks. I would hate to see our forum split because of debate over whose spam is better, because none of us would enjoy it here after that.

At the end of the day, what it boils down to is: My spam is better than your spam. It’s been happening ever since human beings came out of the jungles and began to congregate in groups.

Amen to that.
