So here i am making great progress and i am ploughing through the serpent temple EXCEPT my cleric doesn't have a cure poison spell and all my characters are poisoned. so he keeps healing them every few minutes and i have been carrying on...i am 10,000 xp away from 4th level vine spells...is it worth resetting or should i just carry on in poisoned hell???? Let's face it...i don't feel like doing the crypt again (i have already reset the game once) but if i can't make it through...

Hmmmm, well two things come to mind: 1. The bad guys there usually carry around cure poison potions. . . and 2. Spider nectar cures poison too.

I wouldn't reset, instead I would save in a different save slot and try to make it through.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

cure poison potions are in the yellow bottles

like mamma said, save it in a different slot and see

but you could always leave the crypt and keep killing until you get the spell

or you can always reset (hopefully before you got poisoned) and have your solo character go killing bad guys to get the the 4th level spell....

There's a nest egg for cure poison too!

Kerielle's necklace (named "Algamosh"?) from the Old Millhouse has 3 charges to cure from poison. After changing the necklace vs potion for the temple I've bought this necklace back from Kerielle. A good trade, I think so.

I know that this is a bit late, but were you aware that you can buy cure poison potions at the Wizard's guilds in town? They are expensive and you can usually find enough inside the Serpent's Temple, but for people that do not have the spell yet and are in trouble, these could be a lifesaver.

I always make sure to have two save files going for the same go through at the same time. Did that last sentence make any sense? What I mean is, I always have one primary save file and the other is for inside dungeons. That way, if I get slaughtered or make some sort of mistake, I can always go back and load up just before I entered the dungeon. You never have to reset if you do that unless you really WANT to start over. Hope this helps somebody.
