soooo.......
I killed the iron golem and have explored that entire area in the SW (except, of course, the part with the drawbridge) but I haven't been able to find Mandel's (sp?) sword. I've talked to the guy (who's name escapes me right now) as well as seen Mandel's ghost, but I can't seem to find that stupid sword. any pointers? also, what are all those waterbasins for? am I supposed to be able to do something with them or are they just there for rp reasons?

The sword is in the middle of the small, trapped room, on the floor. Easy to miss if you aren't careful. This is the room with the "jaws of death" doors.
When you're getting ready to leave, you poison the four basins with wyvern poison made from the stingers, so I hope you collected at least 4 of them. |

Poisoning the basins is the only way to open the door to the next section of the game. Don't do the last one until you're ready to go.
