OK, here are my proposed tanks (one of who will also be the party leader). Basically they are both multiclassed with Fighter to try to get all the feats I wanted with them. The first is a Paladin otherwise, the other a Barbarian.
For the Paladin(X)/Fighter 8: Race: Aasimar Stats: St: 18 Dx: 12 Co: 16 In: 8 Wi: 10 Ch: 16 Most level up points will go to Str, I'll put one into Wis so he can cast level one spells, he probably won't get past being able to cast more than that as a Paladin. Leveling up/feats: Char Level Fighter Paladin Feats 1 0 1 Power Attack 2 1 0 Cleave 3 1 2 Weapon Focus: Great Sword 4 2 2 Dirty Fighting 6 4 2 Weapon Spec: Great Sword Great Cleave 8 6 2 Improved Critical: Great Sword 9 7 2 Weapon Focus: Hammer 10 8 2 Weapon Spec: Hammer 12 8 4 Maximized Attacks 15 8 7 Improved Crit: Hammer So basically he'll be able to switch between a sword and hammer depending on the enemy resistance, if any. And by having specialization in both it opens up maximized attacks too. For skills he's just going to go for Diplomacy as the party leader. Tank #2, Barbarian(X)/Fighter(4)- basically want to add some more feats to the Barbarian class to add some variety to it - this tank would be really fast too and would have a real prejudice against enemy spellcasters Race: 1/2 Orc Stats: St: 20 Dx: 16 Co: 18 In: 8 Wi: 10 Ch: 2 Leveling up/feats: Char Level Fighter Barbarian Feats 1 0 1 Power Attack 2 1 1 Cleave 3 2 1 Dirty Fighting Weapon Focus: Axe 5 4 1 Weapon Spec: Axe 6 4 2 Dash 9 4 5 Improved Crit: Axe 12 4 8 Great Cleave 15 4 11 Iron Will So basically she will be a terror with an axe and a mage killer. For skills, she'll go for Wilderness Lore - don't think Intimidate is worth it as she's about as ugly as they come with the 2 Cha. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have the Cleric + 2 Wizards ready =0)

Good formula I have an aasmir paladin too I'll give him 4 fighters level and the rest is pally. The other character started as fighter later will be dualled to barbarian.

One thing I did mess up - Dirty Fighting takes a 13+ Dex, so the Paladin/Fighter build I have wouldn't be able to take it. I might either go with a different feat, or use the first bonus skill point at 4th level to get his Dex to a 13, not sure yet.
