No, you have to by it. IIRC it came free with one edition of BG2, but otherwise you have to buy it. Actualy your can get IWD and HOW together for a fiver if you shop around.
Trials of the Luremaster is a free add-on, but you need HoW for it to work

No, Heart of Winter is not a free add-on. Once you buy it though, you can download Trials of the Luremaster and that is a free add-on. You can probably find Heart of Winter the cheapest on Ebay. As for TOL, you can get that from FilePlanet. Hope that helps.

Trials of the Luremaster is worth getting if you do buy HoW, too! Really makes the game longer and more interesting.
