Personnally i think it would be really sweet to wield a hammer that matches up to carosmyr or somtin.

Yeah, they should be better. There's no real point in wielding them when you could be wielding a magical sword (Unless you have virtually grand mastery in them).

There is a really sweet hammer in SOA and one in TOB. Maces in SOA are ok but there's a really good one in TOB.

Belive me they are powerful enough. SoA has a very niffty hammer, maybe it lacks of more Maces, but all in the game are powerful belive me. ToB is even better. Every weapon is powerful in it`s own way.

And then there is that one flail...
Or that certain bow...
And let's not forget a dubious katana...
Or a nice axe...

In short, every weapon type has an Uber-weapon available in either SoA or ToB. Its just that Karsomi is obtained in a rather glorious way and looks the most impressive

Yep. Balintherlas, a few hints. If you come across an electric-based hammer somewhere around the temple district, obtain a scroll from a very large creature with a name you can't pronounce, and find a belt woven from a certain creature's hair (in SoA), bring the three to a certain dwarf in the Docks. He'll change your opinion on hammers

That didn't contain any large spoilers, did it?

Hammers: It is not a question about more powerful hammers, but a question about more hammers at all. Until you get t3h übarh4mm0r (which happens very late in the game) you will be left with a very limited selection of weapons, none of which are especially flashy.

Maces: There is one neat mace (aquirable mid-game) that can really turn the tide against certain types of enemies, but besides that one there are little to keep your interest caught.

There's a quite well hidden decent hammer in the sewers, somewhere. And you can get some decent hammers from the Adventurer's Mart, and Drizzt's party. Also, don't forget you can use part of the uber-hammer before it gets forged. There is a general lack of interesting warhammers though. And maces aren't too great, until ToB, IMHO. It's especially sad that there are no two-handed hammers and axes.
Making these huge Conan-weapons one handed just takes away their might a little. And don't try to calm me with Halberds. A Halberd is NOT a large axe it's more of an improved spear.
