Perhaps. There are plenty of interesting BGII polls I can think of...
But on the other hand, the Polls board is way too quite already |

How easy would it be to implement/disable?
If it is abused, it should be made easy to remove. I voted 'yes', but polls aren't always the best on forums such as specific games ones. As long as there aren't 20 more polls per day about unrelated things, I will support it.

i think it's a good idea but give a stern warning, maybe even include a line saying polls on ad&d should be in general polls

It would much easier to vote on the right weapons to play and their favortie weapon or NPC.

Simply create the poll here and create a post linking to it in the BG2 forum.

I don't understand the general hang-up about polls. Why not just have them in every forum? You can have polls ranging from 'your favourite baddy of BG II' to 'how often do you change your socks?' and they're all supposed to be in this one section of Ironworks? I'd rather see polls scattered throughout the various forums - it would add to the general diversity as well as generate more traffic for the polls. They don't get so many hits in this little isolated corner of Ironworks. Just my thoughts.

I don't really see the need for one as the nature of most of the conversations in the BG2-forum simply don't really require such a thing, but hey Dundee, you're the mod. I'm sure you know best whether there's need for one or not.
