Need some info on ToB

Well, i just resently installed Throne of Bhaal, and i was wondering that if i start a new game in Shadows of Amn, if i could get some better (new) items (other than ones found in the Watchers Keep)

There are "some rare" items in Shadows of Amn that you can't get in ToB. So I think starting a new game in shadows of amn would be a good idea.

Or If you have a file in SoA that you wish to continue playing, then you may also continue playing at that point.

Yeah, i was just sorta hoping to find out if any new items were added to SoA with the expansion on.

No, there aren't any new items in SOA when you install TOB (that's why they made an expansion) but there are quite a few items that you find or assemble in SOA and that can be upgraded in TOB. So it's worth playing through SOA first, also for the romances.

there aint no new items in Soa if you install the expansion but there's the watcher's keep which you can get some cool stuff while you roam the land of amn. be sure not to lose or sell your special stuffs from the Bg2 cause when you reached Tob cespenar will upgrade them to a more powerful one like the flail of ages where he can attach another poison head and the lightning head on it.
