*****SPOILER*****
Ok, got some questions (again ) 1. In Chapter 4, right at the beginning, if you talk to Neurik, he needs help defending this guy (sorry, forgot his name)- the jury raises torches when supporting the "guy" (not guilty) and put up swords when they don't support this "guy" (guilty)- however, can you ever prove the guy to be innocscent? I have tried everything, yet he is always found guilty- please help. 2. Just for the heck of it, do you think the Astral Blade +2 is the best bladed weapon? Just post your thoughts. Thanks |

If you talk to one of the witnesses in the tavern and buy him enough drinks you'll get some dirt. Also a wounded soldier in the barracks suddenly has useful info if you heal him. I don't recall if persuade checks are needed in either of these two instances.
During the trial focus on the facts you receive from these two and avoid bringing up drinking and playing the race card. I got 5 out of 5 last time with this strategy. [ 09-18-2003, 09:59 PM: Message edited by: Chewbacca ]

I also liked the astral blade, the sonic dmg rules, and almost nothing is immune to it. Great weapon to finish out with.

LOL, who casted resurrection on this topic? Hey, I got another question while this topic is new-
Does the sonic damage "take away" from the total physical damage? For example, with a normal Longsword +3, I could get, say, 40 physical damage. Now, with the Astral Blade +2, it seems I would get 30 physical damage, and 10 sonic damage- both ways get me to 40 damage, but, I was just wondering if this deduction thing is really happening, or if it's just my crazy thoughts? |
